The artwork(s) you submit should be those that appeared in the 2015 ICM or IMP books or similar if the exact piece(s) is not available. Each artist is limited to a maximum of 8 works. Despina and Thomas Tunberg are the curators of these exhibitions, so if the works in the book are not available, they will select others.

Art must be properly labeled on the back of each work including the artist’s name, title of work, medium and selling price in U.S. Dollars. All work must be prepared for hanging and suitably framed or otherwise presentable for exhibit. one work – $175, two works – $300, three works – $400, four works – $450, five works – $500, six works – $550, seven works – $600, eight works – $650. Note: a diptych is considered 2 works, a triptych is considered 3 works.

Payment Options:

Our preferred method of payment is PayPal; however, payment by Credit/Debit Card, Check (on a US bank), Travelers Check, Money Order, or Cash is acceptable. If you intend to pay by credit card or debit card, we discourage payment by email. We ask that you make a credit/debit payment in person, by phone, mail or you can use your card through PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account (see details in the following paragraph). If payment is made by phone or mail, your card information is destroyed immediately following the ring- up. Please DO NOT send cash through the mail! All forms of payment must be in US Dollars. If you are paying for someone other than yourself, please identify the artist.

A PayPal account has been set up for all SNMFA exhibits. It is located at the top of this page.

If you want to pay by credit/debit card through PayPal without a PayPal account click on our website “PayPal” button at the top of the page. Next select “Don’t have a PayPal account”. On the next screen under “Pay with a debit or credit card” section fill in the required information concerning your credit/debit card purchase. In the box under the “Your Order Summary” column enter the total amount of the donation you owe (ie: 5 pieces = $500, 7 pieces = $600, etc.) The screen will continue to show “Quantity of 1” but this doesn’t matter as long as the total amount of your donation is correct. Click “Pay” to finalize the transaction. You will not be charged any fees for this transaction. Fees will accrue to the Museum.

If you have a PayPal account just click on the same “PayPal” button above but select the “Pay with my PayPal” Account option and follow the instructions.

A word about customs: Original works of art are duty free in the United States. Art is NOT duty free or VAT free in many other countries. This must be considered upon shipment, because if / when the items come back to you, your country MAY assess VAT or Duty fees upon the return shipment if you have not taken the proper steps to pre-register your shipment with your customs office prior to original US export, or obtaining VAT relief using your assigned VAT registration number.

THIS CANNOT BE DONE AFTER THE ITEMS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED TO THE U.S. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER YOUR ITEMS PRIOR TO LEAVING YOUR COUNTRY, AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE EXHIBITION & RE-SHIPMENT BACK TO YOU, YOUR ITEMS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE PREVAILING RATE OF DUTY OR VAT TAXES.

You will be responsible to prepare the commercial invoice and pre-register the shipment with your local customs prior to initial export.
