It moved to its current location in the Neonopolis in 2008 and presently features over 20,000 square feet of exhibit area, with a main gallery, a special exhibitions gallery, and a small works gallery. The SNMFA Emporium provides exhibit space for local, regional and International artists to display their current work. In addition a expansion into a 10,000 sq. ft. adjacent space is planned which will include a large exhibition gallery dedicated to large works including installation art and free-standing sculpture.

The Museum strives to distinguish itself as exceptional by providing intellectual excellence and leadership with respect to the visual arts. Our goal is to promote an understanding and appreciation of art by making accessible to the public fine art exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events designed to enhance the quality of life for the community.

Neo Action Abstraction Exhibit Returns from New York

The museum's Neo Action Abstraction traveling exhibition returns from its appearance at the Rainforest Art Foundation Gallery in New York. The  exhibit includes recent paintings by Joseph Palermo, Jenik, Richard Bailey and Michael Griesgraber. The works were selected based on their innovative action-oriented techniques. The exhibit will remain installed at the museum until its next scheduled "SNMFA Outreach Program" exhibit.
